I need help in creating a email newsletter to send out to all of my contacts. Can someone guide me through or give me a step by step tutorial on how this is done.
I don’t have a clue on how to create or send out. I have experience in web programming languages and will be capable in building the email page.

Hi! I am an administrative assistant at a small hospital. My boss has requested that I begin a company newsletter that will go out in every employee’s mailbox each month.

My question is: How should I go about starting this? What computer program should I use, what questions should I ask my boss (for instance, would I ask: What kind of header would you like?), and should there be anything else I should keep in mind?

All suggestions are greatly appreciated!

So I’m a young teen in the So-Cal area in need of cash, as all teens my age do.
My forte is writing…so my question to you guys is, is it possible for me to write editorials, reviews, etc. and submit it to newspapers, magazines, etc. (or even help design newsletters for businesses) and get payed?

If so, where are my options to write to?

I know my options aren’t big, seeing as how I’m so darn young. But babysitting and yard work aside, does anyone know of anything I can do that uses my writing skill as an advantage, and gives me a cash return?

Thanks very much for any ideas, comments, and so on. :]

Is there a free email that allows you to send unlimited messages per day? I am in charge of a large investment group. There are about 18,000 contacts in my network. I mail a batch email/newsletter to them all at once. I know gmail and yahoo will cut me off after about 500 email sent/day. Are there any programs out there that wont cut me off?

I would like to receive a daily newsletter that inspires me to save as much money as possible and live creatively on as little as possible.
I’m a busy stay-at-home mom with 3 small children and would like to find a practical daily email newsletter that will inspire me to save more and spend less.
I already subscribed to frugalmom but it is a monthly newsletter not a daily, which is what I need.
I wanted to add that I already read my bible on a daily basis and have strong church base but I need additional help. I already subscribe to biblical inspiration daily newsletters but I need more practical-daily iving help

I own a free samples/freebie website (ImFlatBroke.com) and what would be the benefits of collecting emails for a newsletter? I make money through ad linkage and a few affiliate sites on the page. What are some direct benefits I can use the newsletter for, since i’m not trying to actually sell anything to the newsletter subscribers. I do have a blog about ways to save money, which I update, so I guess I could send them the new ways to save. But what are other benefits either direct or indirect?

I have been asked to submit a bid for a major contract by the end of this weekend. The email was sent to a number of large companies…and me! This is an amazing opportunity for me to pick up some evening and weekend work. I am a new graphic designer and I want to charge a flat rate for projects, not by the hour. I don’t want to bid too low or too high but really have no idea what to charge. The company needs flyers, posters, manuals, brochures and ads on an ongoing basis. What flat rate should I charge for the initial design AND what should I charge for editing the content of their monthly newsletter, for example. Thanks!!!!
I just want to clarify that the only service I am providing is the design. The company is going to do the printing through their in-house print shop so I won’t be spending any money on paper, ink etc. I create the design for them, PDF it and email it to them. I want to do a flat rate because even though I have great design skills, I am pretty slow so how can I penalize them with an hourly charge? I am confident that I will get faster with more experience so in a few years, my per hour rate is going to increase even though I’m charging a flat rate. I have tried being sneaky and getting quotes from real design shops. They all charge by the hour and want to see the project before they quote on it. Thanks for responding so far.
Hi. Me again. I only do print design, not web design.
Thanks Charlie D for your advice. I will have to give this whole thing some thought. It will be very difficult to raise my price significantly if I’ve been working for them at a very low rate.

My client has a credit consolidating site and her webmaster has resigned the position. I can effectively handle the position so she sends me tasks like updating her newsletters, site design updates, data changes within site, etc. She pays me for each individual task like $50 a pop or so. That’s cool I guess. But I think a contract would be better like if she paid me every 2 weeks to be the webmaster. Webmasters help! I’m going into this field and would like to know what ok and not ok ya know? THANKS!

I’m in a computer’s class and they are making us write a newsletter of a topic of our choice? Do you guys have any ideas of what I could write about?

Like, for example, if I do it on dogs, what should it be about, like different dog breeds and what dog someone should get or like dogs in general?

Thanks so much, I really appreciate it!
Also, does anyone know what a newsletter is exactly? Like, is it someones opinion on something or just facts on a certain subject??
