I am looking for the last 5 year results following a options newsletter with say an account that is auto-traded of let’s say $10K.

Do you think you’ve made more money by following investment newsletters as compared to buying and holding some good mutual funds?

Not interested in IPOs, but I am looking for a newsletter that searches in the discount bin for a stock that’s ready for a takeover or is about to release a stunning new product. Especially interested in newsletters NOT dealing with pharmaceuticals. I am interested in tech and internet stocks, though.

Any suggestions?

I have signed up for countless newsletters on investing, (everthing from commodites to penny stocks. Has anyone found a newsletter or investing that actually delivers what it promises?

I signed on to an investment newsletter a few months ago. This person seems very knowlegeable, but he is a deep value invester, so his picks tend to stay down for a few months or more until the turnaround. Meanwhile, I watch the news and see stocks like Nokia and Union Pacific that are not in the newsletter have been going up for a long time.

So do I need to consider an additional newsletter? Like one by someone who is more aggressive and with a growth style? Or just be patient as long as I’m making money? I’m very busy and don’t have time to research stocks on my own. Thanks.

If possible, please state the type of information given, how frequently the newsletters are published, and how much it costs. Thank you in advance.
