For the last two years, I have slowly evolved my career towards becoming a private guitar instructor. Lately. I have been thinking about creating a newsletter because I’m discovering the effectiveness of word-of-mouth advertisement from parents and students. From my experience in writing, I’m aware that a properly written and distributed newsletter or mailing list is highly effective way to reach people.

The question I have is what kind of software would I need? Is there a really good program available for creating, editing, and managing this? Are there web-based applications or a free website? I just want to write mini articles (tips, etc.) and calendar info, including recitals or open music events…

I just don’t know how to get this started, so I thought I would ask? It would be even really swell if I could just tie it all in with my calendar, which I have yet to figure out a program. Would MS Outlook be a soloution for Calendar and Newsletter?

I am a new Apple user and wrote the newsletter on my Macbook using the word publishing layout. I put in many photos and then converted the document to a pdf, but it is too large to send. I would like to publish it to the web, so that I can just send a link to my friends versus the document. Any ideas?

If I want to do a newsletter and I’d like to get sponsors advertised in my paper, how does one go about putting their logo and advertisement in my paper? What is the process? I know its all done electronically but…. how?

I have tried a few on line companies who can track the e-mail’s for me, but their design programs are very simplistic and don’t wind up looking the same in a test e-mail. If I could design it in another design program and then somehow get it into an e-mailable form that would be great. I’m out of ideas! Please help!!!

I received a Site Pro newsletter in my email there was a green tag that appeared at the bottom right of the screen when opened. Is there a html code that you can do this with?

i know basic html only but there must be a free service out there where your form is sent to a database and then you can send an email to everybody when you update your website?

I have a design template in photoshop format, and would like to create PDF newsletters. What would be the best program to use in order to easily add, remove, and manipulate the textual content? What would be the best format to put the photoshop design template in?

I’m just trying to make my work as easy as possible. Any help is appreciated.
