I am a Realtor and have several homes currently listed. I would like to be able to find more buyers for the homes I have listed. I run big, expensive ads in the newspapers and do not get any calls. I have Open Houses and no one comes. I send out monthly newsletters to past clients and feature the listings, but no one is interested. Me and my sellers have to wait for other agents to bring clients through, which I **** waiting! I would like to be more proactive and find creative ways to find buyers myself so the homes sell! I am thinking maybe people out there have ideas I can try or things you wish your agent would have done for you when you were selling your home. Maybe there are agents out there who are doing something creative now and want to share. Any ideas??

I have created a newsletter that a broker can send to his/her clients. It is part of a client retention strategy. Four quarterly newsletters written in the brokers voice.
The newsletter is 4 pages. Some interesting info about the broker on the front page. A thank you and referall section on the 2nd page. Funny Cartoons and a word search on the 3rd. The last page has a recipe section. I usually get the broker’s spouses name and sort of make it there section. Like one broker I do this for…his wife’s name is connie, so that section is Connie’s Corner. I write it in 1st person format. The idea is to make it look like the broker spent time to produce this. I also throw in a birthday card. All this for $25.00/yr/client.

I want to start a town newsletter. I am a real estate agent and would like a small part of the letter addressing local real estate market conditions. The bulk of the letter will have advice on gardening, bird watching, cooking, home repair, safety, in other words lots of seasonal information. My goal is to have name recognition and to increase my business but at the same time provide a public service.
I have all that I need for the articles but I am at a loss for a name for it.

I was recently laid off and have decided to focus 100% of my time in real estate investing.
Do you know of a site that lists and rates real estate newsletters?
Do you have personal recommendations for real estate newsletters that you are *not* personally involved with?
Thanks!
Chuck
…clarrifying, I am looking for a newsletter or two from which I can learn more about this business. I’m not interested in newsletters that exist to sell someone’s products, or newsletters written by gurus who want to teach you–for a small fee–their system of real estate investing.

Please tell me which name you like best for my newsletter. My slogan on all marketing and business cards is I’ve got the keys to your real estate needs! so I thought one option for the title could be:
Charlie’s keys to Real estate
Or
The Real in Real Estate
If you don’t like either of these all ideas are welcome. Thanks in advance!

Preferably, in the United States and free, but if there is a cost for the subscription, is it really worth the price.
