I’m looking to purchase software for design and layout. It would be primarily for e-newsletters and preparing pages full of statistics. Because of the statistics, the ability to copy in from Word and possibly Excel would be a must. Some of this may be going up on the web, so internet compatibility would be nice. The results must look professional, and the program shouldn’t be too hard to learn. I have had experience with Photoshop, so ideally it should be somewhere along those lines but more geared toward layout. I’m working under a budget, so the best mix of features for the most reasonable price would be ideal. Any suggestions for programs that fit all of this criteria?

Can anyone recommend a free e-newsletter software? I’ve found a couple online that are free and look professional, but they have a limit of 100 or 200 emails. I’d need one that could send around 500. Does anything come to mind?

I have been using Printshop 20 (way outdated I know) for all of my small projects, but now my boss wants me to do her company newsletter and brochure. Printshop is not the right program for such a big job!! I need a program that I can easily e-mail the project or save to disc so that I can take it to a printing company. NOT an easy task with printshop!!!! Any suggestions would be appreciated!! Thanks!

Hi! I am an administrative assistant at a small hospital. My boss has requested that I begin a company newsletter that will go out in every employee’s mailbox each month.
My question is: How should I go about starting this? What computer program should I use, what questions should I ask my boss (for instance, would I ask: What kind of header would you like?), and should there be anything else I should keep in mind?
