I have just added feedburner and subscription to my blog–you can see it here at http://www.hamptonarts.blogspot.com (the area on the left)….I think this is a great way to get people to constantly look at my blog. Now, I have been doing constant contact emails—-and I was collecting email addresses with a sign up form on the site.
Do I do both–and do I then still use both sign up forms–I doubt people will do both!

With Feedburner, the emails are sent automatically to your subscribers as long as you have new posts. The downside is that you don’t have the emails of those who actually subscribed to your feed.
With Constant Contact, you have the emails but you have to manually send the emails.
So it really depends on whether you value the ease and conveniece of Feedburner’s automated sending or whether you value collecting email addresses of your users.
I do Feedburner for my blog, but our email sign ups for our newsletters are through Constant Contact
