Well I’m not sure what you’re looking for….is it a newsletter announcing the birthdays of the employees of that month? If so, will they be done every month? Have they been done before? What kind of software will you be using? You can do more creative things in Adobe Creative Suite (but it’s very expensive), but I’ve also made some good newsletters in Microsoft Publisher.
Now a few ideas:
-Asking if anyone will share photos of past birthday celebrations (might be kind of hard to get)
-Famous events or celebrity birthdays on employees birthdays (an ok idea, but very unoriginal)
-Ask employees their favorite and least favorite birthday gift of all time
-Ask employees their ideal gift or perfect birthday celebration
-Brief history behind the Happy Birthday song
-Ask employees their best birthday memory
-If you have older employees it might be funny to ask them at what age do they stop putting candles on their cake or stop counting years all together
