For the last two years, I have slowly evolved my career towards becoming a private guitar instructor. Lately. I have been thinking about creating a newsletter because I’m discovering the effectiveness of word-of-mouth advertisement from parents and students. From my experience in writing, I’m aware that a properly written and distributed newsletter or mailing list is highly effective way to reach people.
The question I have is what kind of software would I need? Is there a really good program available for creating, editing, and managing this? Are there web-based applications or a free website? I just want to write mini articles (tips, etc.) and calendar info, including recitals or open music events…
I just don’t know how to get this started, so I thought I would ask? It would be even really swell if I could just tie it all in with my calendar, which I have yet to figure out a program. Would MS Outlook be a soloution for Calendar and Newsletter?
